Özge Erşen specializes in corporate and mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and project financing. She advises executives and senior management on strategic business and legal and commercial issues, including the structuring of transactions, risk management, contract compliance, and due diligence review. She provides clients with advice and analysis on bank credit agreements, intercreditor arrangements, and all other finance documents.
Representing institutional investors and private and publicly traded companies in both national and cross-border transactions, she works with clients in various industries, but has particularly experience in the areas of the aviation, hospitality, construction, information technologies, telecommunication, and pharmaceuticals.
Before joining the Elmas & Yeşioğlu, Özge worked in senior associate positions at high-skilled law firms for a decade. Providing daily consultancy to retainer clients, She assisted clients with all aspects of development, finance, and operation, drafting commercial agreements of all kinds. She also supervised and worked on mergers and acquisitions, dealing with foreign investment and capital market issues. She prepared and held general assembly meetings and board of directors’ meetings and provided assistance in due diligence process with respect to the related tenders. She has also practiced in a variety of substantive areas, including breach of contract, false advertising, wrongful termination, unfair competition, off-shore banking and financial crimes.
