Within the scope of the litigation department, Melda Yılmaz provides legal support for companies to solve their problems regarding their commercial relations and employees. She contributes to the project management and contract reviewing, draft and follow-up of processes within the scope of mergers & acquisitions. In addition, Melda provides legal consultancy in revising the letters of guarantees that are frequently used in banking practices and researching related issues. Besides these, in Elmas & Yeşiloğlu Melda also supports the litigation department in drafting petitions and execution work related to the litigation process, mostly in the fields of Labor Law and Law of Obligations. In both corporate and litigation departments clients generally consist of banks and capital companies, and the domestic and international affiliates of these companies.
Melda likes to begin her works with a broad perspective and gradually narrow down the frame as she proceeds with the research process. She checks the doctrine and the evaluations in practice alongside the national and/or international legal regulations in detail every day. She thinks that being able to find solutions to the problems that the client has conveyed with concern is one of the most satisfying features of the legal profession.
